Mine does the same thing and the dealer gave me a BS excuse the first time I took it in. He may not get a 2nd chance, cause I'm lookin at the Mopar/Borla exhaust at Modern Performance....

never seen that, but I am glad to know it... I would probably pass out if I came out and saw my chrome tips hanging.

It's a gradual thing....at 500 miles it looked fine....at 1000 miles it was noticeable, now it looks just cheap....I'm taking it in to the dealer....[:@]

It's the hangars. Make sure that the rubber pieces conecting the hangers is on all the way. The exhaust gets very hot and may have caused them to slip off. The driver side on mine was slightly lower. Once I put on the Borla I took about a half an hour adjusting the hangers to fit the tips in just right. It's a non adjustable design that has to be beaten into place.

Yeah, mine did that too and it got so bad that it actually scorched the paint in the passenger side cutout. But it's ok, the mopar-borla exhaust that I installed last weekend covers it nicely and the tips are perfect (after about an hours worth of straightening)

Still, I would have had the dealer repaint the area affected...

Luckily enough I haven't had any exhaust alignment problems at all and I have around 1,300-1,400 miles on mine.[sm=smiley20.gif]
