House of Kolor is polyeurethane based, isn't it? I used some (I think the color was wineberry) some years back. There's a few steps to applying it if I remember correctly (special primer, shimeron base, kandy color, and clear). The stuff looks REALLY awesome when your done. Like it's 1/4" thick and always soaking wet. I had visions of doing a car by blending accents into the shimeron base so they would only show when the light hit it. It would be tough to keep it from looking tacky though. Oddly enough, a set of drums (musical, not brake) is what I painted with it. Can't wait to see her when she's done.
