dyno time
about 45 dollars for 3 runs, all depends on where you go though. Around here i have seen so many diff prices usually ranging from 30 to 100 all for 3 passes.

Don't trust the numbers you get from a 'fly by night' dyno. Their numbers on the cheep dyno's are usually too high to be accurate. But it will make all your customers happy to see the high figures. When you see everyone walk away happy from their dyno runs you know something is not right. Make sure if you are paying for dyno runs it is a good company, equipment and technicians. I tend to trust a dyno where everyone is a bit let down with the numbers they get.[sm=confused06.gif]
the place i go to is $75 for 5 pulls, which is a really good price around here. most places are $75-100 for 3 pulls. an hour of time is around $150.

Thanks guys & gals. Chicago's a bit far. Flint and Detroit are closer at about 2 hours each and have dyno's and I have family and friends in both, so I could just make a day of it. Just wish one was closer. Funny thing is, there is a guy that sells dynos (Mustang Brand) here and a scientific company that makes automotive and other very long haired test equipment but no-one knows of a dyno open to the public locally. They all say "go east young man".
