It's always "safe" question is will it do anything for you. If you can advance the timing and fuel curve...then yes. If not then it may be a waste, and even rob you of a little power as I understand it.
To be able to run 100 Octane effectively you'd need Stage II with Toy which uses a high Octane mode as Adam said before advances the timing to accommodate.
