SRT-4 advice wanted..
With Stage 2 it will flat out embarass an STi. From what I've read, Car & Driver has the top speed of the STi at 145 MPH. Dodge lists the SRT-4's speed limiter is set at 148 MPH, but everyone who has tested this gets to 153-155 MPH before it kicks in. With the limiter eliminated it will peg the 160 MPH speedometer though. Slicks on an SRT-4 seem to be pretty consistent at knocking off a full second from the 1/4 mile times. Either way the SRT-4 has the STi beat on the top end.[sm=smiley15.gif]
you were sayin you were gettin a custom paint job. im just wonderin how much one would cost cause i love the mettalic orange color but no dealerships have it. anyway a sleeper is a car that just looks like a normal car like a civic with nothing special about it but when it runs it beats the crap out of alot of other cars. so simply is a car with no visual addons but the engine has been modded up the yahoo.
Ahh cool. Not so sure if you can call an SRT-4 a sleeper though..it's bit loud to be called "sleeping" haha. The engine is quite pronounced I'd say..=) (well maybe it's not as obvious if you don't have a BOV on it.)
Oh and about the paintjob, I'm not sure how much it'd cost you but it's costing me about 1000$ canadian. That's like, ohhh, 700$ USD? It may be less if you don't want someone to whip up a design for you, and just want a solid color. But I'm getting nighthawk black with pearl blue detailing on the sides. (Not sure what else to call it but "detailing" haha, it's gonna be a neat design =).

i would just want the solid mettalic orange but i would want a full paint job. you know like instead of just painting the outsaide they paint the inside of the doors and stuff so it wont look orange on the outside then when you sit inside the parts of the frame are a seperate color. that would just look weird.
You could change the hood, nose, wheels and take off the spoiler ant then you'll have an SRT-4 sleeper. You might need to remover the badge off the trunk lid as well.[sm=smiley2.gif]
