Some people refer to them as "Q-Ships" as well (from WWI).....Q-ships looked like cargo ships and when the German subs surfaced to take advantage of an easy kill, the q-ship opened up on them with hidden guns!!!![&:]

Yeah it sound loud and all that.... but you can install any exhaust on any car to get either the "high pitch" or "low Pitch" tones... Da reason is "Da Perfect Sleeper", is because people see it as A Neon!! There are still "IG-NanT" folks out there that see's just that.... ie, Honda racers, Rsx, Type- R's, Mustangs, Etc.
Until you blow them off the Block... and just smile at there *** when they have that dumb look at their Face... [:-][&o][sm=smiley11.gif][sm=smiley19.gif]

Trust Me.. Peace

no offence to the sleepers out there, but i think sleeping is for people with no social lives. you have a srt-4 under your butt! be proud and be loud! and if anybody thinks the got the juice, send them and their mama's car with its blubbering exhaust back to their garage! or better yet, to their nearest dodge dealer as a convert! amen!

If you sell off the parts taken off to get the stock Neon peices to replace them, then you would be ahead with cash left over in your pocket.[sm=smiley2.gif]

Yeah but, I don't want it to look like a neon. I like the SRT-4 =P. That's why I bought it haha. I won't be sleeping that's for sure.

I was replying to SRT_YA's post. I wouldn't do that with mine either, I love the way it looks.[sm=smiley4.gif]

The main reason people like sleepers is because it's easier to make $. That's the whole point of not looking fast. Whether you're a street racer (Not that I condone street racing for $ [sm=smiley24.gif]-ahem...) or a track racer, the slower your car looks, the more likely someone will put money down on the race. Some guys go so far as to do things like put baby seats in the back, paint their cars flat colors, and use bumper stickers like "My kid is an honor student at...". That is the original point of a sleeper.

Some are real sneaky and will even hide nitrous lines inside of vacuum and/or fuel lines, so that you cannot tell that they have it.[sm=smiley15.gif]
