Yeah just for you guys and gals who did not read my post about my SRT being 600 bucks from being totalled heres whats new first of all my insurance conpany came in and did an estamate for my car and the damage was a little under 12k like 10,375 YES 10 THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS. My first impression was as soon as the other guys insurance comes in to look at my car it was going to be a total loss. for the fact insurance companies only give around 60% of the cars value before they have to make the decission wheather or not is is safe to fix it or safer to total it. Well heres the skinny the other guys insurace finally got here today the accident was on 1/6 almost 2 weeks came up with this damages were at 11,100 and he did not total it HE OKd THE REPAIRS he even said that he had another 2000 that he could go before he even had to make an "I GUESS YOU COULD SAY" executive decision that is the call wheather or not it was safe to fix or safer to total so if my car has 11k worth of damage and he had another 2k buffer at 60% that is saying that a 03 SRT4s fair market value around here is over 18000 or more. ANYWAY THEY SAY THAT MY CAR WILL BE IN THE SHOP FOR3 TO 4 WEEKS[:@]

My total loss on mine was 14,692 dollars and some odd cents. My car itself is the same, but I have excessive engine problems, then again they aren't due to the accident or I would've had to pay for them.
They told me 3-4 weeks....it turned into 3.5 months. [:@]
*edit* My insurance policy was ACV less $500. So....the value of my car minus 500 bucks. If the airbags had gone off I wouldve been ****ed.

Dude ! Have you heard of gap insurance? I have it on mine and I put 5500 down. I'm 2 yrs into loan so soon I will be dropping that. The gap ins pays for a total and gives you cash for down pmt on new car. Check into it.

I also have gap insurance and all this damage is structural damage no motor damage all drivers side from front to back and very little uni body damage and my body shop guy could not believe how much this car costs to repair especially with no engine damage
