I know what you mean. I had 1100 miles on mine when I put the can on, and couldn't help but wonder how much oil had already got past. But, like you, I have seldom driven it hard so far. Waiting for another oil change and the "magic" 1500 mile mark...[sm=smiley4.gif]

Has it been proven that 1,500 miles is indeed the magic number?

I think the 1500 mile is a "proven" number... I am at 1750 or so on mine now... when the car hit around 1500 miles the turbo is now producing upwards or 13-15 psi of boost under WOT... and at less than WOT the boost is still coming in at 5 psi or so from time to time... maybe it's just me cause I was expecting a change at 1500 miles and now think it has changed... but... the car def. feels quicker and I am pretty sure it is getting more boost now... Before I was at around 10 psi at WOT and little to no boost any other time...

I'll be getting those with the parts, so in actuality they will add power and performance.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]
