I just wanted an answer to tis question I recently just got an air fuel gauge and wanted to know if it will work with my o2 sensor and which wire is the signal there is 4 wires any suggestions thanks
My understanding is that the O2 sensor in the SRT 4 is kind-of an "all-or-nothing" sensor, and if you use the stock sensor w/ a decent fuel/air gauge you'll just get close to full-rich or full-lean readings. I don't have confirmation on this so I'm glad you brought it up- I've been trying to find out if I need to put in another sensor for my gauge- anyone else have any knowledge of this?
Your best bet is to get a generic O2 sensor and add it in to the exhaust for your gauge, then you will have a gauge that reads right and don't even have to mess with the factory O2 sensor.
Yeah, that's what I thought, too. Guess I'll just tap another sensor. Does anyone know if any of the a/m pipes (like the maxxfab) have a place for a second sensor? That would be cool...
