Stage 2 Boost
Just put s 2 in on friday. Have K&N CAI and MPX 3" exhaust. Boost gage now gets to about 17 psi but fluctuatesbetween 17 and 15 at full throttle is this normal? Ajusted arm on wgc to the 4cm per instructions. Is there any thing I can do with the wgc to keep boost sustained? Thanks , Randy

]. - I think you meant 4mm. In all seriousness, you are about proper, for a s2 setup. Usually, it'll spike to 18 or 19 and settle between 15 and 17 depending on temp and conditions. Also 4mm is a guideline - but not always correct. It sounds like you are close, but you can play with it a little in either direction to see if you can optimize things a little better. I found that 3mm worked for me. I know others who settled on 4mm and some at 5mm. One extreme case was tuned properly at 2 mm. My advice when installing s2 is to leave off the heat shield on the manifold for now, so you can go back easily and play with it after you drive it for a bit and see where you are at. Also, give the computer time to learn your setup - especially with the 3" exhaust.
Yes my bad I meant 4mm. As far as that pain in the *** heat shield it's already back on. But will be alot easier to romove on second try. I found that removing the upper intake pipe and the battery gives alot more room to work. There is a how to stickied that is very helpfull . Thanks for your reply. Wooshh Wooosh Crack Crack Burble ! What the hell was that? Thats my car LOL! Having too much fun. Randy
i had to play with the wga on my s2 multiple times before finding the best tune for my car. i ran a 5mm preload and spiked 21 psi and held 19psi to redline. however my numbers are not normal for s2, i apparnetly had a freak s2 that liked boost
also getting supporting mods will help with that too (exhaust, tb, fmic, etc).
