strength in numbers
Question:
is there a rally coming up anywhere that is close to Kentucky that anyone knows about? Yeah,,,,I know,,,,,I don't expect there to be one IN Kentucky, because there aren't enough SRT 4 owners here to amount to anything, but I was wondering if there was going to be one somewhere, like a state or two away, that would be close enough that I could attend.
The reason I am asking is, well, I want to go. If I could be around other owners of the car, I think I could learn a helluva lot more about them. I could actually feel how someone's maddog shifter felt. I could ask questions to owners about the mod's on their cars. You know,,,things like that.
Just wondering if you all knew of a rally of some kind or something that I could attend.

I'm in SC...We could meet in NC...I have nothing done to my car but there are 5-6 SRT-4's in my area. There is nothing like shooting the breeze, looking at cars, talking about cars, and reminiscing.
I am far from kentucky, but if you are ever in the philly area, I'd love to catch up.
There are a lot of real fast srt-4's around here; once the season starts back up, (although I never seem to see any on the street) there are always a few good ones running between 300 and 650 hp.

Well I know of a couple of events that shouldn't be too far for you. I am planning on getting to at least one of these this summer. 1) The midwest SRT-4 Nationals, May 19 and 20 (Fri & Sat) Norwalk, Ohio ( up near Toledo). Nice facility, I have been there for a big Pontiac thing with my GTO buddy. Here's what a tom6433 on these forums sent me for a link; http://www.dasmotorsports.com/midwest/
2) There is always the Big Mopar Nats at National trails raceway just outside of Columbus Oh. every summer. Don't know the exact date, but I believe it to be August-ish. Somebody check me.
Neither of these would be extrava, gant, ely, ley,..gant.....uh...... extra super far for ya. I've never been to a Mopar Nats yet, and every year I say I will go. Maybe this year I will.
Well there's 2, maybe there's even more, but those are 2 good ones. The SRT-nats is relatively new, and so, not real big, but could be fun anyway.
P.S.
There is also the Woodward dream cruise in Detroit every year, but that may be too far and it is not brand specific, but that is also what's so cool about it. You're just as likely to see anything and I mean anything. If it had wheels, it drives down Woodward blvd. during the cruise. Many say the weeknights preceeding the cruise weekend are the best for seeing some action and that's also because it's less of a traffic jam.

I'm hoping they'll have another big SRT-4 meet in Louisiana this spring. But after Katrina, who knows??
