SPEED CHANNEL, SRT4 on the dyno
Did anyone see Sports car Revolution on speed channel last night. They had an SRT4 on the dyno and added stage one. They did a baseline and had 230whp. The dyno shop said, "Wow, we must have a good one!"
They added stage 1 and actually had a drop in peak HP but had more power from 2500 to 4500. Watch the show because they are doing more mods to it next week.

Actually talking to Paul tonight he told me that they put the S1 on the car and it had a slight "stumble" or "sag" while under part to mid throttle that they didn't notice before. Interestingly enough I have that sag...and since I drive like grandma Im always like wtf? However under full throttle the sag isnt there.
Hmmmmm interesting, I wonder why that is.

I was hoping the same thing about the good & bad cars. But I will have to wait until April 1st to test mine at the dragstrip. Until then I will keep my fingers crossed, hoping my '05 car was only slow because of all the boost leaks from day 1. I think I got a handle on it now, many, many zip ties later...

WhatNeon's statement about boost leaks is a good point. I think atmospheric conditions and fuel grades may be a bigger factor. We have 93 here in the NE, from what I understand many markets only get 91???
HARDLY geriatric my friend. Your car, well thats getting geriatric lately. LOL
Did you know your exhaust makes your turbo sound like a Cummins with no muffler? All you can hear is "whoooshhh". Heck, I'm lookin in my mirror thinking an 18 wheeler is riding by butt!
