Default AEM Short Ram intake

I just put on my AEM Short ram intake. It sounds AWESOME!!!! It took about 45min to install (take into conserdation that I'm still just learning so for you guys it should be no time). I bought it at modernperformance.com for 165$ shipping is free sounds great and car has a little more snap to it don't know how much hp it actually raised it cause like I said I just put it in as soon as I can get smaller pic sizes. I'll post some pic.

Glad to hear you like it. I'll be getting the K&N CAI for mine.

Me I am going with the full AEM cold air intake for mine, It might take a little longer to install and cost a little more but I think it looks better and functions better than the short ram air intake.

I noticed a "valve" for the AEM CAI that will prevent water and snow/slush from being drawn into the engine. It was in the Summit Sport Compact catalog I just got...I think it was like $45....

You can generally get the bypass valves for any of the cai's- they're pretty universal. Nice thing about the srt cai though is that it sits in the fender well, so you don't really have to worry about water ingestion (it's in the same place the stock airbox gets it's air from).

Well, I certainly don't have to worry about snow or slush down here, and it rains mostly in the spring....So I'll just save myself the $45 and buy a gallon or two of gas....[sm=smiley36.gif]
