How does it sound? Is it obnoxious. I'm looking to get a BOV but I want one that's relatively quiet. Nothing that chirps like a bird or sounds like a fighter jet whoosh. Something subtle. The reason I mention the Mopar conversion plate is because it's cheap and looks like a quick install. Any suggestions? I probably should have searched the forums, but I was already finished typing this post by the time I thought about it.

 

its not the loudest but its pretty loud. sounds like an airbrake from a big rig.

PM American_Muscle he'll send you the video. I have it on mine and its quiet compared to most others.

 

The more you boost, the louder it gets, but during normal driving it's not that loud. The thing you need to know is that it will vent even when you're not in boost. Mine vents even between 0 and -10 vacuum.

 

The reason I want one is that I catch myself turning off the radio and listening to the factory "blow in" valve and going man it would be cool if that very silent whoosh was just a wee bit whooshyer. Not much, just a little......

 

It is more than a little noise - but don't worry - nice thing about the plate is it is onlt 60$ if you don't like it
