Ok so I have my S2,CAI, and exhaust. Does the BOV improve performance or just make noise? Either way I would like any input on what would be best.

Your BOV will make noise to startle other cars, people, etc. It won't add any HP, but it IS a fun toy to have!!!!

OK another fargin' BOV question. Which one is louder the Greddy Type S or RS?

 

there two different sounds all together. type s is a squeel and the rs is more of a phisss

 

Your factory Blow Off Valve (surge valve) that came stock on the SRT-4 vents intake pressure back into the turbo's compressor housing. In stock form, it is very hard to hear the "whoosh" or "air brakes sound" when you lift off the gas because the air vents right back in.

An aftermarket BOV like the Mopar, vents the pressurized air to the atmosphere and allows you and anyone else nearby to hear the unique sound....

For the Mopar BOV what would you need i mean, what does the conversion plate do for it and is it something that is needed for it?
