Default Killer bees in my boost guage.....

Anyone have any trouble with boost guage racket. It's driving me crazy, with my OCD/ADD and all. If you were to take a beard trimmer, put it on full blast, then lay it on a wooden table, that would be the sound of my BG. Between 2300 and 3000 RPMs, especially in 3rd and 4th gear, under partial to 3/4 throttle, this horrible racket comes from my dash. I took it to the dealer, of course they weren't too sure, but I told them I would have my dash apart this weekend (apexi turbo timer) so I would try to pinpoint the problem. If I can't get it, they'll keep my car and take another look (man I hate to leave them my car). Also, when I turned the car off earlier the BG landed on about -2 to -3 or so and won't boost past 10 psi. Isn't it supposed to land on 0? Anyway, does this sound like a bunk guage and has anybody else had this maddening buzz/rattle at partial throttle acceleration, usually between 10-0 vaccum? I think I'll drive the Focus(turd) till this weekend.

Isn't this car notorious for busted boost guages? And I always said it would never happen to me.......

Yes it is. Mine reads -10 when off, but seems void of the killer bee issue. Others have complained about the buzzing though.

Makes me wonder about the quality of Autometer gauges.

Just stubbled upon this and was wondering if you fixed your problem. I have had the same prob for about 6 months and I cant take it any longer. The dealer said it was something other than the boost gauge making the noise. I think they are idiots. I haveny heard anyone else with this same prob and was wondering how yours turned out.
