A Little Help Please?
Hey guys im new at this site, and i was wondering if yaall could help me out with some questions? i tried searching to just incase you guys might say use the search bar but i dont know alot about these cars. but anyways my buddy got himself a new srt4 stage 2 and i am a dsmer but i dont hate on all brands, but there is a thing on a mitsubushi that you can connect a palm pilot to your obd2 or 1 connector and get a program and its a datalogger. it tells you fuel trims, knock, rpm, everything like the snap on scanners but i was wondeirng by any chance do they have them for srt4's? because they have a high dollar program for mitsubushis called dsm link and if you have your computer socketted and have a thing called a eprom, you can basically tune your car with a laptop, so if anyone knows if this is possible or ever heard of anyone doing it on a srt'4 please help out because my friend wants to push high boost and im trying to tell him if its gonna be getting knock and whatnot, its gonna ruin his engine over a period of time so yea enougt of my blah blah thanks guys.
As far as I know, I haven't heard of one for the SRT4. But then again I could be wrong. There are a few people on here that works at Dodge, they could tell you alittle bit more than I can.
DCX has never sold the rights to re-program any of their engine control modules. So the only people who can re-flash a cal for you is someone from chrysler using the chrysler harware & software. So your only other choice is a stand alone fuel & spark systems that cost way too much money.
well is there any programs that you can do logging? i just want to see if there is a way to log his data and i dont know any programs or really anthing about these cars besides alot of them are flashed on there computers but all i know is they must have a obd2 port under the steering collum but all i dont know is if there is a program that i can use to read knock and whatnot i know some of you guys know what a snap on scanner does it clears engine codes tells you stuff about your engine and whatnot but yea if theres any programs out there or anything knows anything thatl be cool

i have a obd program that i use for monitoring and all that good stuff....it's on my laptop and plugs into the obd port. cost me like $90 with the cable, i'll see if i can find the site again where i got it from. you can't change perameters or anything with it, but it does record and monitor what's going on.
