hey guys i just got my srt on the 7th of may and when i went to test drive them i stoped at a mitsubishi dealer first and took an evo 8 for a ride. the dealer was pretty cool and i got to mash it pretty good. i wasnt impressed at all, but i still wanted to haggle on the price a bit. i got him from 38 to 27 but im in the military and dont make jack for cash so i was like thats still way to much man. and went off to the dodge dealer.

I got there and i saw my potental car sitting next to there only viper. i was like sweet and took it out for a ride. after about 3 miles me and the guy from the dealer rolled up next to this honda civic hatch that was half way in the middle of a body kit and they two guys inside wanted to go. so the dealer was like hell yeah smoke these guys. so we were both rolling and off we went i threw from second to fifth (still new at the racing lol) and these guys pulled a few car lengths ahead but not much so at the light there like "hahaha wana go again for pink?" the dealer was like "hell yeah" and i just went along and after the light turned and i didnt jack up the shifts he was a memory. at the next light there tune changed "ahh no ahh na thats not fair, u got a turbo.." and my reply was "well now i have a honda too." and hearing that they turned down the street and ran. but it was the best test drive ive ever had lol and if i go back over there some guy owes me a honda.

 

O on a side note i wasnt impressed at all with the evo 8. i thought it was weak.

 

Good job, glad to hear another ricer bit the dust and you got an SRT-4.[sm=smiley20.gif] Now you can really start to have fun with it. If you wanna scare the crap out of people walking down the street or just standing around, then get the Mopar Performance BOV, it's great fun giving people heart problems.[sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]

I agree wi 71, BOV should be first on your list, that can really pick a fight with people or scare them away, but either way it is fun.

BOV then exhaust IMO. If you fo mopar you can't go wrong. It's an easy install if you do it methodically and it sound GREAT! Theres nothing like shifting next to someone when there window is rolled down.

 

Beats the hell out of listening to their stereo blasting......[sm=smiley4.gif]

 

Yeah even right now with a totally stock car i dont turn on the radio. This is the best sounding 4 cylinder by far. no winding out like rice cars.

 

Yep, the turbo has a nice bassier tone instead of the lawnmower/weed wacker sound. That's one of the many things I loved about my Shelby Z's.
