Check out this SRT4!!!
Me and a nitrous junkie buddy of mine were looking at the picture of the motor and we came across the conclusion that the nitrous setup is only for looks and probably never actually ran in the motor...Now i dont know much about nitrous but he lives by the stuff(he has a 89 mustang with a dual stage fogger running 9.20 here in colorado)so when he puts his 2 cents about something like that i listen.....He said the fogger on the setup is for a carbuerated setup and is not compatible with the fuel injected...The reason being is a carbuerated setup needs about 7 to 8lbs of fuel to run through the solenoid, where its hooked up on the car(fuel injected)its gettin probably somewhere around 50 to 60 lbs of fuel,so there for if that setup did get ran it must not have ran very good for the fact there was 5x to much fuel for the solenoid...Just some input dont know how much of its correct but it makes you really think about what some people will do just to make a car look appealing to the eye but in all reality its a pile of sh*t...
The car has well more than $19k in it, if the engine has truly been built (and it'd be interesting to know the parts used to build it). Looks like it has a big turbo upgrade (possibly an AGP 50 trim?), on race gas and 28~30psi boost this car probably makes in the neighborhood of 500whp (if tuned properly), 600whp on the nitrous. Looks like it uses the AFC fuel computer and a Greddy E-BoostControler. If you were to buy a used stock SRT it would take $10-15k to build it to level of this car.
When you say the interior is falling apart what do you mean? Some things are easy and cheap fixes, just takes the know-how. Paint is the hardest to fix, but look at it this way, you'd be able to choose the exact color you wanted. A new paint job will run you about $4k. So basically for the price of a brand new SRT-4 you could have a completly custom one, painted whatever color you want and capable (with a set of slicks) of running deep into the 11's, possibly 10's.

I got a chance to see it last night. My brother and I went to look at it and the retard sales man didnt have a clue about what he was even looking at! It was very rough to say the least! The body kit did not match up at all, gaps everywhere. The doors were a nightmare, inside the car was falling apart and the paint was real bad! We passed on this one. Asking $19,000 fo it. You will spend so much more money just fixing the body and paint.

I'm with Devil's reject.....I'd listen to MChat. He's forgotten more about high powered cars than most people know. It seems like a bargain after hearing what he said. I'd look at it again and talk to a body shop about an estimate.
I would like to add my thoughts. First of all, I would ask the dealer what is was traded-in on. Second - why would someone trade a car worth potentially a lot more than a dealer would give. Remember, they only give you wholesale price for a trade-in. Third - You have to drive it before you make any decision. I for one would not buy a used SRT-4 from a dealer unless I knew the previos owner.

Also, I would buy it just to part it out lol if I wasnt gonna drive it....
It would be worth the time to have the dealership do a compression and leak-down test on the engine, if possible with you there to witness it. If there is anything wrong with the engine likely one of those two tests will indicate it.
Given the amount of work done, there's alot of things you'd want to check out. Take the car on an extended test drive, make sure it doesn't overheat. After it cools back down check the radiator fluid color, make sure there's no oil in it. Check the oil make sure there's no water in it. Pull the plugs and check them out. Given the nature of the modifications to the car, the dealership shouldn't have any problem checking these things and allowing you to see the results. If they have a problem with it, walk away.

So, just because the car was traded in doesn't mean much. Although the owner did try to sell it on E-Bay, and likely in the local newspaper/auto-trader without success. Definitely an indication that you want to check it out w/ a fine tooth comb. It'd be nice if the dealership was willing to drop the oilpan so you could validate that the engine had upgraded internals; I don't see that happening though, unless you're willing to pay for the labor no matter the outcome.
