Default Backed out!!!!Bad deal!!!

So i installed my prothane MM inserts about a week ago, when i went to do the install for the turbo toys i noticed the bolt for the upper mount completed backed out and in the process it stripped the bolt and stripped out the threads inside the block(where mount bolts too)...I can not figure out why it did that i torqued them in with a impact...So after about a hour and a half i found a new bolt that was a lil longer(put loctite on threads) and re tapped the block, just wanted to know if anyone else had this problem..It was kind of scary[]

You probally damaged the threads with the impact gun. I usually leave the impact gun on a low torque setting just to run the bolt or nut in and then torque it by hand.

Amen brothas' - NEW rule - no motormounts w/o a toruqe wrench. They only cost a little and are well worth it! Then you can use it on your wheel lugs, your strut towers, your bov's...too.
