Default AEM cold air intake

just got the aem cold air intake last weekend as well as the windows tinted. my question is , is there anything i should no that isnt in the instructions or any thing that would help more or any little tricks that would help, will be putting on friday thanks for the help

i have the mopar, which is made by aem. it was a simple process just by following the instructions provided. you are going to love the louder sound of the turbo.

Do not hook up the line from the valve cover to the intake....Instead run a line with a breather on it from the valve cover side and just cap the intake side.....The stock airbox has a sponge in it to collect oil,obviously the aftermarket dont so you want to do that so you dont suck oil into the turbo....(or you can run another OCC but there isn't much room)

well i was going to put it on today but now it is snowing again i hate marylands weather it sucks but thanks for the info i really appreciate it

Definitely listen to flamered's point on the nipple on the intake and the breather on the vent.

Otherwise - Very nice choice - you'll love it.

well i put it on yesterday and just as i thought my wallet will be screaming more then my car because of gas but yes it sounds great and the install its self wasnt bad thank you all for helping with my questions. i put a little air breather filter coming off of valve cover and a 3/8 hose off intake with screw in hole to cap it is that ok

love it when you are hard on it and let off it sounds like a poor mans bov that morning i was hitting 16 and holding at 13 but afterwards i noticed it would hit 16 and stay through out

I have the agp 3" and the more boost the louder the cai is and the bov as well, the tighter the bov is adjusted the same as well, thats normal right?
