Default LEADED OR UNLEADED?

Ok so i went to get some race gas for the ride,they had 108 octane but it was leaded....Can i run leaded gas or will it hurt it?I dont have a cat on the car if that makes a difference...please help

Leaded fuel will hurt the catalytic converter fast. Leaded fuel also coats most oxygen sensors within a few seconds, thus making them slow to respond, or basicly junk. So no, I wouldn't run leaded fuel if your still using an oxygen sensor.

I run Sunnoco GT+ which (IIRC) is 109 unleaded.

Im not running a cat so i am not worried about that, but from maybe past experiences has anyone had a problem running leaded gas???Or is it a big no no?

on todays cars i wouldnt do it if you have unleaded option. your really not gaining anything from it. so i wouldnt use it.

It says right on your instrument cluster. "Premium Unleaded Fuel Only"

Im not trying to get anything more than 100+ octane....I have a hook up on it and its really convenient for me,so i just wanted to know if its gonna cause a problem of any sort?Unleaded isn't really a option,I would have to go to the track to get it and there closed plus about a 2 hour drive to get there...

Dont run leaded....stick with unleaded.

I understand you guys dont recommend leaded,but what im looking for is if someone has ran it before and seen problems with it or not?

As stated before over time it will kill your caT and your 02s other than that you should be fine, but I wouldnt make it a constant thing. Some people have run it for full race seasons without an issue, yet still....dont make a habit out of it unless you wanna be replacing sensors left and right.
