Default Tactics on these damn sticky eyelids?

Thank god POS Rev Motorsports hooked it up with 2 sets of eyelids because these damn things are a bitch to put on. Any tactics, suggestions?

you are using the vinyls right... soapy water on the light should allow you to position it and remove bubbles... don't quote me on it, I'd do another search, but I think that's what I was told to on the small Transformer sticker on my back window of my whip... good luck!

did you finally get Revo to hook you up proper??

Soapy water, and a hair dryer, take the lights out to do it.

If by two sets you mean black and another color, the black goes first.

If you're talking vinyl. That's what I have. First, the soapy water will help. Just a couple of drops of dishsoap in say half a bucket. Now I got mine from Ruthless graphics and they came with good instructions. In fact, I think you can go their website and download the instructions if you did not get any. This is easier with 2 people and much better to be done with WARM vinyl. I would not even try it in the cold.
Anyway;
First, clean the light of all bug guts. Be carefull not to scratch the lens. IT IS PLASTIC!
Next, get some masking tape and tear off a bunch of small strips. Have ready.
If needed, trim all he excess backing paper off to within about 1/8 inch of the vinyl all around the edge. (leave paper larger than vinyl)
Then, with the backing still on, lay the leading edge down on the light and line up the inboard and outboard edges with the inboard even with the hood gap and the outboard with what ever reference you choose, just so you'll be able to duplicate it on the opposite side. (the "s" styles like I have don't line up with anything specifically on the outboard edges) and secure with the previously mentioned tape strips. Just the leading edge.
Now stand back and eyeball it. You have a fair amount of area to move around in and get it right.
Now, flip the vinyl forward, wet the lens w/ soap water solution, and peel the backing paper off a little from the leading edge first, and fold it back.
Now flip the vinyl back to right side up and press the leading edge that has the backing pulled off down to the lens. Keep pulling the paper backing back toward the rear of the car out from under the vinyl and keep working the bubbles out as you press the vinyl down.
Work from the middle leading edge out and back. If you get it all stuck and you dont like it and you were using the soap solution, you can, for a short while, pull up and re-lay the vinyl to get it right. You will also have to pull hard towards the back edges to stretch the vinyl smoothly over the lens to not get wrinkles. You can work around small stubborn bubbles at first, but you definitely do not want wrinkles.
Once it is all stuck to your liking and 98% smoothed, and your sure you like where it is, trim the excess material from the edges, leaving a little left over to tuck back under the rubber seal.
Now you are about done. You will probably have some tiny bubbles you couldn't get out. You can "pop" them with a needle or an exacto knife and work them flat. Now you're done except for either the other side or, in the case of colored vinyl, you had to lay the light blocking black vinyl and now you have to do the colored over top of it.
Good luck! Just make sure you do it warm like in a heated garage or with some kind of heat source to keep the vinyl soft while you work it.
It's tricky, but if my wife and I can do it..........

You guys make my life easier. I honestly just think I'm retarded cause when I get a box with "stickers" in it, the blonde girl inside of me thinks, peel and press and walah!!

Rev did not give me my custom order, I disputed the charge with paypal because this is bull ****.

Thanks for the help. I'm gonna out the lights tonight and do it inside cause it's cold here!! brrrrrr...

Thanks again.
