First, I am not a "bro". Im a girl, my post had no disrespect neither should yours.
Second, Im stating the facts. I have an active title on my car with a 14,600 dollar total loss. Not a salvage title. The car wasnt totaled therefore it wasnt a salvage. If you bought it under that assumption, that it only had minor damage, then someone lied to you.
The only other way it was a salvage, was it was used for safety testing by DCX and sold WITH a salvage title. Cars with this title have to have special paperwork and inspections in order to assure the DMV that the car is safe to drive regardless of the extensive damage it acrued beforehand.
Heres the definition of Salvage Title, from carfax.com
http://www.carfax.com/Definitions/Glossary.cfm
Salvage Title - A Salvage Title is issued on a vehicle damaged to the extent that the cost of repairing the vehicle for safe operation exceeds its fair market value; or a vehicle that has been declared a Total Loss by an insurer or other state or jurisdiction. Some states treat Junk titles the same as Salvage but the majority use this title to indicate that a vehicle is not road worthy and cannot be titled again in that state. The following ten States also use Salvage titles to identify stolen vehicles - AZ, FL, GA, IL, MN, NJ, NM, NY, OK and OR.
This is from Georgia but applies everywhere in almost the same aspects.

Im not saying your lying, these are the facts that come along with a salvage title. Someone fixed that car, and lied to you about the damages that occured on it in its previous accident where it was totaled. Im assuming you bought it used, so the licensed professional that rebuilt that car wasnt truthful about it to you.

You are totally right. AND you cant get a salvage title in every state. I live in SC and you cant register a car with a salvaged title here. You can in GA and NC.
AND if people would just pay the $200 for GAP insurance then we wouldnt have so many salvage titles out there. Except for those that got a salvaged title for being stolen and stripped!

Ok . . . .
numero uno: SHE is just stating the facts of a "salvage title". Wouldn't you want to know what you were getting into before you bought a car?
numero dos: SHE isn't trying to hurt your chance of selling your car, what does she have to gain.
and lastly: why are you trying to sell your car on here when the majority of us already own them???
Calm down BRO!!!
