Default SRT Owners beware = Deyeme Racing

I posted this over in the other forum... so sorry if some of it doesn't make sense... but I think you should know.

I know a lot of you will disagree with my post here regarding the service (or lack there of) from Travis at Deyeme Racing... but I wished to share my experience and suggest not using him for future purchases.

I recently purchased the endlinks as sold on his site for my SRT (I ordered the blue bushings to "match" my car). I ordered them via the website on Feb. 4th. Feb. 5th I noticed my credit card had been billed and expected to receive my order shortly!

Time passed and no order showed up...

Feb. 18th I sent him an email asking about my order just to confirm he had received it and to find out when I could expect to receive it. No reply from him. I sent another email the next day asking the similar questions (being quite polite I might add). Again, no response.

On Feb. 20th I called during the day and actually got a hold of him. I asked about my order and he said the bushings had been on back order. It would ship on the 21st.

On Feb. 28th I still had not received my order. I left two voicemail messages asking about the status of my order and to please call me, leaving my phone number twice. No reply.

I began calling him periodically through the days that followed in hopes of reaching him again. On March 2nd I talked with the baby-sitter who was watching his child and left my name, number, and my concern with her. I was told he would call me back... again, no reply.

Late on March 3rd I called him again. I finally spoke with Travis again and expressed my concern over being billed and still not receiving my order. He mentioned another back order on supplies (hmmmm) and that it would ship out the next day. I asked him to please email me the shipping number so I could track my order. He verified my email address (which he knew off the top of his head... hmmm... thanks for responding!).

Now, on March 8th I have yet to receive an email confirming a tracking number, my order status, etc. On the website it says there will be no shipping of orders through March and online ordering has been removed.

Now I have my car lowered and I am stuck using the stock endlinks while I wait for my order to arrive. I think I have been quite patient with this whole ordeal.

I would strongly suggest not using Deyeme Racing due to their lack of customer service. I do realize this is a 2nd job for this guy, but to ignore multiple emails, phone messages, and to make false promises is terrible customer relations.

Again, I realize many of you will disagree and say you received your parts in a timely manner and in good quality... I wish I could have said the same...

Sorry for the long read.

that's one reason why I bought from the guy... everyone over on the other site had nothing but praise for the guy... sometimes you just don't have luck...

I'll let you know about the links... after the coil over install, I don't know if I need the new ones or not... it looked pretty good (level) when I installed the new sways and put the coil overs down... but...

I retract 15% of what I said... I am still not thrilled with the customer service.

Maybe he's having some personal problems or something. I know that doesn't help you out at all. I ordered some motor mounts for my old 99 R/T a little over a year ago and he was good to deal with. I never installed them b/c I sold the car right about the time they came but he offered the core refund etc to the new buyer. Hopefully this was just a stumble.

Wow. He's normally a good guy to deal with. I've ordered from him before and never had a problem with the service or the parts. And his parts/order pages are back up.
