Default 24 SPIKE!!!!

I'm very afraid. I installed the stage 2 WG actuator (on stage 1 ecm) and the thing ripped! Lokked at my boost guage and it was spking 24 holding 17. What's the deal? I just adjusted it and still same thing. I have 2 1/2 threads showing give or take a 1/2 and there's not much more to go. You would've thought that adjusting it would have made a difference. Have to let her cool down, then try again I guess. Anyone run into similiar problems. Please help! I don't wanna blow my motor, she's only got 2600 miles. My mods are---AEM CAI, Mopar exhaust, Stage 1, Mopar BOV, Stage 2 WG actuator, and that's it as far as power mods go. HELP!!!

Someone else can chime in here, but I think that the ECU (what the hell does that stand for, anyhow) has to learn that the new wastegate is on the car. I think I read where you have to drive around some and give the ECU time to see what's going on and make the proper adjustments. I have also heard that they spike terribly bad when they are first added.

So even though I'm spiking 24-25? I swear on my last run (adjusting for the fifth time and still no change, I think I'm gonna go the opposite way and leave like 6 threads showing to see what that does....) I heard a knock at like 25psi when it spiked and lost power, then flew back to 17-18. Man I don't wanna blow my motor..........

that wastgate was intended for stg2 ecu i think the stg1 ecu is not able to cope with it plus the wga adjusted to 4mm.

Wouldn't it be about the same as the AGP WGA? Am I just going to have to eat the $100 and go back with stock or AGP WGA?

Do you have the stock boost gauge? If so thats impossible. It only goes up to 20. Adjust the preload.

Take it for a ride, as soon as it goes past 17, STOP. Do this a few times, then reset your PCM. Adjust the preload on it to make it to 0 pre-load then you should be set.

Or take out the second fuse in on the bottom row for about 30 seconds, the ASD fuse. Located in the engine bay fuse box. This also resets the PCM.
