You can install it on both sides. The PCV side gets more oil than the crank side does. So putting it where it is in that picture up there is best. You can have one running on the other side when you get an aftermarket intake, and/or just get a breather. I just have a breather there, and nothing leaks out of it at all.
Its a Campbell Hausfeld filter. Very small, just like you see up there Its usually with the other CH stuff at home depot or lowes.
3/8 barbs
4 3/8 hose clamps
And about 4 feet (to be safe) of high pressure hose (its with the other hose, and it works just as well as the others).
Heres a picture of the breather:

Hey thanks alot! Sorry if my other thread offended you, just wanted to let you know your hot.. lol. I am going to buy all my shiz either today or tomorrow. I have the same filter as the one in the pic, I am going to get the breather on it as well. Thanks for your help. Any threads with installation instructions the other links on the last one didn't work.
Take the small hose that connects the PCV hose to the Emissions line (little rubber elbow) off.
Put the High pressure hose there and attach it with a hose clamp.
Find a suitable location where you can zip tie your filter to.
Attach the barbs to the filter by screwing them in.
Attach the hose clamp to the HPHose on the PCV valve.
Once you find a good location for the filter, cut the hose where it needs to be cut. Make sure the hose and filter dont run-into the powersteering belt at any point, and dont let them sag near it either. Engine torque and something near your PS belt could cause problems.
Make sure that the arrow on top of the filter is pointing TOWARDS the emissions line, NOT towards the PCV valve or it wont work. Then attach the HPHose to the first barb, and then to the second with hose clamps.
Re-attach the HpHose to the emissions line and secure it there.
Zip tie your filter if you haven't already (mine was zip-tied to the AC condensor lines), make sure the clamps/barbs are tight, and your done.
Some people say that it works better without the white filter element in it, mine worked just fine with it in there, so I have no complaints. I have other pictures if you need them, but those are the steps to install it. Very simple, very quick.
Hope that helped.
And no it didnt offend me at all. lol
