Whenever I get pulled over, I do 2 things....

1.) Call a family member/friend and report my location. You never know what may happen and it never hurts to let someone know who may need to come get you.

2.) I always request a 2nd car. I never settle for just one lone cop. I dont feel comfortable with it and often with two cruisers, one cop cant try some b.s. on you. It still could happen, but the chances are less likely.

I dont pull over for cops anywhere short of a very well lit area or a public place like a gas station/restaurant. On the highway, I get to the nearest exit before I'll pull over. It pisses some people off, but I will typically get over in the right lane and turn my flashers on so that cop can at least see I am aware of him. Mind you, I do this only if I am close to an off ramp. Otherwise I pull over.

I've called 911 because of a jackass cop. I was very shortly being apologized to and told to go on my way by another cop. It pays to pay attention and know the stupid **** they try and pull.

I'd say probably 50-70% of all tickets are issued because people started acting stupid instead of being smart. They see a cop and start racing away or trying to be all inconspicuous when in reality they just make themselves more noticable. The best thing for cops who want to follow you is to pull into a gas station or something and act like your going to get gas or get food. Alot of cops just follow people to run the plates and see if they cant get you to do something for a ticket. Not all cops, but I'd say a good 40-50% do...at least.

Yeah, it was a marked car, I saw when I passed him, and since Mommy had just called me to tell me, she knew where I was. Now a new question, took my car by Dodge to run in and schedule an oil change and get my fog light fixed and they tell me that my foglight is not covered under any waranty, even though I've only had the car for 7 months?Any ideas, does this sound weird or am I really gonna have to pay $_.__ (someone fill in blank) for this ****.

Bulbs are not covered under warranty unless its a factory defect that blows them out. Same as a clutch, brakes, etc.

However, in neons in general, not just the SRT-4 the excessive vibration due to soft motor mounts causes fog light failure in almost all of them. For the price of the bulb (7.10 from DCX) its really not that bad. Just have them put it in and be on your way. It can be a PIA on the passenger side because of the washer fluid tank, but having them do it and paying for the bulb is the same cost as you doing it yourself.

Make sure your fog light bulb housing is pushed in all the way. Mine was loose from the factory, and caused my bulb to burn out in 3k miles.

For the record. Bulbs, wiperblades are 6 months unlimited mileage. Wheel alignment and balance, brake pads and rotors are 12 months, 12k miles. The rest, dare I say, is suppose to be 3/36.

Seven months and you dealer charged you for the bulb? What a bunch of tight asses. I cover bulbs up to 12 months for everyone who buys a car here.

Are they 5 Star???

That it is.....five star co-ordinators suck at certain dealers. I'd try taking it somewhere else. Just to see.
