THIS SUCKS !!!
MY CAR'S IDLE IS F*CKED UP !!! I WAS SITTING AT A RED AND SHE ALMOST DIED ON ME ... THIS STARED YESTERDAY AND HAS BEEN DOING IT SINCE ... I HAVE TWO NEON TUBES UNDER MY DASH AND THEY ARE FLICKERING WHEN IT GETS REALLY LOW ( RPM ) DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON WHAT IT COULD BE ??? I'D RATHER TRY TO DO IT MYSELF BEFORE I TAKE IT INTO THE DEALER. THAT WAY I DONT HAVE TO TAKE EVERYTHING OFF TO KEEP MY WARRANTY

have you checked your alternator? if the neon tubes are dieing down then your voltage/current is getting low. i may be totally wrong, but i see this at work a lot.

What very few people actually realize, is that having a sound system, neons, and all those other great electrical items in your car is that its a killer on the battery. The normal alternator isnt really designed for the kind of electrical output needed to sustain all those devices.
What I will suggest is to double check all your wiring and make sure that everything is wired up nice and good. Check all your fuses and grounds to make sure everything is sound. I'd also have your battery checked as well. Make sure its good and working.
My last major sound system had a spare battery and a seriously upgraded alternator put in the car. I would suggest having your alternator amperage checked while the car is running and if its low....consider having a better one installed.
There is a service bullitin on the throttle position sensor wires. Because of the way they were bent from the factory some of the wires are broken internally. An easy way to check for this is to see if the car's idle changes when you wiggle the wiring going to the TPS.
