Ok, I just installed a new aem intake and mopar bov. Now I get a gurgling noise between gears. Is this supposed to happen. Or ss this becuz of the turbo and new intake. Any info would be helpful.
mine has always popped and snorted between gears.... as far as the intake the only noise ive heard change in my car was the "whistle" the turbo make when it spools
Hey, I'm Joe. New to this forum. any way I just got a Boomba Racing BOV (similar to the Forge BOV). Lots of "flutter" with this one. it seem to only woosh under quick changes in preasure (such as a quick rev in nutral to 5psi or at high boost and a quick shift) otherwise pretty quiet. It seems to flutter more than blow off. I'm running an AEM SRI, and the BOV has a 13lb spring in it. is this normal?? any other experience with this valve?? anyone??
there are reallya coupleflutters you can hear. . psi hit on the ptb issue, which is/can be bad. also, if your BOV is fluttering it might not be a good thing for it. but most likely, given you just installed an intake, your just hearing the blades of the turbo spinning, as the intake will amplify this sound to make it more noticable.
Thats why I try and stay away from installing mutliple parts at one time. That way if you get a problem you dont have to figure out which mod is causing it. Just some future advice.
