well, im sure some of you remember saying how i hated SRT-4's and all that crap, but it seems i have grown to like them.


my friend just bought one (pretty white one) and took me for a ride in it.


so basically, i love the bucket seats, they hug you very nicely.


and his is an 05 and he just put STOCK neon 2.0 cams in it (they really did help....crazyness) and of course a wastegate accuator, because the stock one sucks...and torque steer is still present, but not as bad as the older ones.


all in all its is a very nice car, yet im still leanant to my STi's, and i assume i always will be, but i have a new respect for the SRT-4...except for some of the idiot kids who drive them...and the ones who use nitrous and claim to be "stock" when you can see the nitrous lines hanging down from the car (the guy im referring to there, is the one who made me hate srt-4's to begin with) but not everyone who drives one is like that, and i falsely labeled all srt-4 owners in the same catogory.

well we all appreciate your second look at the SRT-4 and i wish i could say all SRT-4 drivers are good people but the truth is there are always jerks and all we can do is not judge everyone on one persons actions.

na I agree, People give me a lot of **** for owning an SRT-4 until they meet me and see im a pretty cool guy and am an ACTUAL enthusiast, not some guy who wanted a fast car and gets all his stuff installed.


But yea, a lot of the SRT-4 people over here are morons. I am friends with SOME of them, but other ones have the IQ of a snake.

One guy in a stock SRT-4 told me this...and I QUOTE

"Yea dont mod your car, all you need to do is hook up a MBC and crank it up to 20PSI, and Now I run 12's...."

then later he told me...

"All SRT-4's are STAGE 1", i told him only the injectors...

"Nope, mine came with stage 1, the guy told me"...

*sigh*

 

well that sounds better then the idiot at my work who use to own a srt4 he said to put on a blow off valve and that will give you 60 horsepower at the wheels me and two other co-workers were in tears from laughing

 

i want to know were people hear that stuff or if they just make it up. how could releasing the gas from the turbo add 60hp? some people. [:@]

 

he is the same guy who bought a slowbalt and cant keep up but yet talks smack all the time he once tried to tell me that his supercharger runs 20 psi stock and i choked on my breakfast
