That's great to hear. I ran into a jap toy around here 2 nights ago, I don't know exactly what it was, but it looked like it was straight out of The Fast & The Furious. It had everything you could imagine, new paint, covered in graphics, lowered, wheels & tires, intake & exhaust, big spoiler, full body kit, etc. We're talking decked out just like in the movies and at the shows. I was leaving the car wash and seen it pass by so I made sure that I caught up with it, luckily enough at a red light. We slowed down to a crawl as the light changed to green and I took off like normal and apparently he knew better than to trey playing with me, because he crawled away from that light and stayed way back. It was quite enjoyable, but I kinda was hoping he would have actually tried so I could teach him a lesson, but it looks as though he already knew not to.[sm=smiley15.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

 

I have that same "problem"... everyone drives by, looks at my car... and stares... but no one will play I almost hate it... haha... maybe I should have bought a Civic... at least then people would toy around with me hehehe... no, maybe that is still a bad idea

I just spanked my friends cougar..left him in the dust..he had a intake n a few lil other things...i just my hazards on..n waved out of my sun roof 2 let him know that srt4's dont play! OOoopss

 

Good stuff man... i was impressed how well i drove the car and it was great fun... i really dont have any other close friends that can run with me but im sure ill find some punk kids down to go lol.

 

I had one guy in a red Mazda Miata who thought he was going to pass me and cut me off getting onto the extrance ramp at the freeway on the way back from the muffler shop. A healthy dose of SRT-4 acceleration and the sound of the Mopar/Borla exhaust evidently convinced him to try it with someone else.....[sm=smiley5.gif]

Okay, d@#$ it Dusty! I want one. I admit it. I want one bad. But the wife wants the solstice just as bad and I've got something like 1500 credit to put towards it.


ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHH... No one even knows what a Spirit R/T is any more. Mine was built before some of the new driver's ed students this year were even born. "No respect. No respect I tell ya."

 

Well, after 4 divorces and one annulment, let me just say this....keep the lady H-A-P-P-Y....get a second job if you must, but keep her smiling, cause if you've got kids, the other option is sooooo much worse. Cars will come and go, but marriage/divorce/child support are for (almost) forever.....

If you still think otherwise, see how she feels about the SRT-4 seats....most women have a problem with them....just a friendly word of advice.....[sm=smiley20.gif]

 

100% agree... i have my 'ol lady and 2 little 'G's'. its all about keeping her happy!! And if yes happy.... i get more CAR TOYS!!!!

 

I know the Spirit R/T's fairly well, don't worry that they are forgotten, because they are not. I even have a fairly new issue of Sport Compact Car magazine that had a "Blast To The Past" type of article at the end specifically on the Spirit R/T's and how bad a** they were/are. However, the SRT-4 is current and new and with even more power to kick overseas butt with.[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley16.gif][sm=smiley2.gif] And all the nice mods and toys available for the SRT-4, so much stuff that was never made for the R/T's. Such as a factory exhaust with no muffler at all and Viper inspired seats, not to mention the BOV's, CAI's, 3" SS complete exhausts without any cat/muffler/resonator and STS.
