for sure i know not to race a 03/04 but i was just wondering about the older years. has anyone ever heard of someone putting a skyline engine in a sentra. the same dude said that a guy with a sentra with a skyline engine wants to race me. i dont think you could put a rear wheel drive v6 in a front engine inline 4 car, but you never know.

 

People keep saying "if its older than 03, then it should be even"...

not true...stock, yes, but everyone who owns a Cobra is MOST likely an enthusiast and has plenty done to their car.

Same does NOT hold true for Mustang GT's.

 

i know i will have to look at the car first see if it stock. if it is do you think i can beat him?

 

if its stock, 99-02 will be a good race, if its older than 99, i think you can have it beat easy...It all depends on the launch. If he can launch good, it will be tough, if you out launch him by some mircle, you will own him up top.

if its 03/04, say gnite, cuz they are 12 second cars from the factory.

 

there was an svt behind me yesterday!!! i let him go by and we hit a red light. the guy said he only had 320 ponies though we both started talking when the light was green got up to about 30 and he punched it i kept up with him with ease... but could not edge him out at all. after i threw it in third he pulled slowly but suerly.. those are pretty quick! wouldnt want to run in to one that wanted to run from a dig

 

don't race the cobra. also like mexicans and **** like to lie about their cars. that cobra will rape you. i have a agp wastegate and i got raped by a stock svt. but if i were you i would race people with like slow civics for money or something like that. i wouldn't go after the faster cars yet. and the s2000 find out if that is moded. but it would aslo be a much closer race. i beat a s2 with intake and exhaust when my car was stock. but for now stick to the slower cars.

 

i think i will race the svt but not for money. the S2000 on the other hand i am going to see how much money i can get out of that guy

 

This is at the track right? 'Cause I recind all statements if it is a street race as I think it is dangerous and ill advised.


I ran an 03svt with drag radials at Island Raceway last year. I'm stage 2 with toys and a bunch more on street tires - with HOM enabled I just Nipped him out with a 13.278.

With a stock srt-4 - as stated previously - no way.

An s2000 - I'd give it a shot after looking at the car to make sure it's stock. I beat them stock, and rape them now.

Older model year mustangs - who knows - they're probably modded if they race.

 

i will be able to do a stock/stock comparo with a 99 cobra this spring. probably will be at a flashlight drag 1/8 mi....1/4 would give the srt some time to run him down since the stang will hook much better. I want to get him on a road course too...

 

Find out the year because if it is not super charge you should beat him.I have killed cobras befor and all i had at that time was a wga,thats it.
