Default To Squeeze or Not To Squeeze

That is the question of the day. I personally am not a NOS fan... don't like it for ****. Anyone here think otherwise? Just wanted to see what different people had to say about the infamous NOS subject.

After the first of the year im gonna get my stage 3 and i am tossing around the idea of throwing a 50 shot at it while im in there!!!I saw a blue srt4 on the dyno with stage 3 and a 75 shot put down like 485 horse and like 500 something torque,i was quit impressed but like you im not a big fan of nitrous i feel its for people that dont know how to build up a car and dont have the money to do it right..Dont get me wrong alot of people use it and use it well they do but i also see a bunch of bone stock honduh's with a 100 shot just blowing **** apart...If you where thinking about it i wouldn't recommend going over a 75 shot and thats with proper tuning.DONT TRY AND RUN NITROUS WITHOUT TUNING THE CAR FOR IT!!!!!

I've never been a fan of squeezin juice. Never thought about getting it for my ride... never will. Just wanted to see what other people had to say... I gotta admit though 485 horses and 500 torque is sweeeeeeet!

i agree most of the time people buying nitrous kits are not trying to build they are trying to kill there cars by just not knowing but a friend of mine has a sunfire (I actually like it) he has done a bunch of bolt on quick mods and bought some little nitrous kit that comes with the 35 55 75 injectors for it and he thru away the 55 and 75 injectors because he didnt ever want to take it that far and his car has had no problems yet so i think it is depending on driver and how they drive on weather they should get it or not with me i would be stupid with it so i wont buy it because i love my little srt4

I just threw a 75 shot on my car, with a ton of other mods though, stage 2, full turboback, agp wga, greddy profec b, twm short shifter, fmic etc...

im gonna start saving up for stage 3 now too...

in any event, you need teh supporting mods for the nitrous, ie (fuel pump, injectors, bottle warmer, window switch, purge), and you will be fine...be smart.

the people who destroy their cars are people with nothing other than nitrous (most of the time), and know nothin about their A/F ratios etc...

Ill tell you this, its the best bang for your buck, kinda like teh SRT-4.

a mechanic at my dealership has an srt4 he had a 75 shot on his s1 he said it should be fine with no other mods but i dont know thats just what he said and also it makes a big difference on the setup your using (wet or dry) as far as other mods that should be done to the car..

i was hoping to one day have the stage 3 or some other big turbo and add a 50 or 75 shot. with proper tuning nos can work great. it can be the differnce between a win and a lose. just make sure you do it right and not try to put a 100 shot on your stock srt-4. its funny seeing the rice rockets blow up their engines with too much nitros.

co2 systems are a waste of money are can be dangerous. adding co2 means that you remove o2, which is BAD.

i personally don't have a problem with nitrous. i have been debating putting a 50 or 75 shot on my car. when nitrous is done right, it's fine. people are scared of it a lot of the times because 90% of the people that use it are rice boys that don't know what they're doing and blow up their cars. when tuned properly and with the proper safetly precautions, nitrous can be very safe.

there's a never ending debate about nitrous, and it never will end. many people consider nitrous cheating. i never understood that logic however because it's cheap and readily availible to anyone that wants it, so how is it cheating? yes it's a very cheap, quick, and easy way to get more power out of a motor, but why is that a bad thing? as long as it's done properly there's nothing wrong with it as fas as i'm concerned.

i have been worried about putting a shot on since i saw a thread about a guy that installed a 100 shot on his s3 and blew a hole the size of my fist in the side of his block.......
