wow.... I like that... your car is silver?? what type of paint did you use? and the prep work for it?? come on Gump, where are the details hehe...

it's funny, the first time my old roommate saw my car he said I should paint my scoop too... I haven't yet... guess I am too lazy... or I just want people to think I put a silly wing and a silly hood scoop on my Neon... haha... silly people... Neon's are for kids... SRT's are for big boys and girls... haha...

either way, I like the paint!

If you don't feel like painting it check ebay at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=WDVW

for the vinyl version. I just got one- I'll let you know how it looks when I get it.

damn u barney dont show me that.... damn u damn u

i spent 9.49 on a bottle of touch up paint from the dealer, then took off the scoop and spent 2.5 hrs with duct tape masking it off then 10 min painting (put 2 coats on to make it look better) then removed the tape after drying and used a tooth pick to clean all the edges, then took pictures and took a deep breath and then installed it.... damn u barney DAMN DAMN DAMN... not only is the thing on ebay cheeper but im sure it dosent take 3 hrs damn u lol.

ha ha- sorry bro. Although, the paint will probably look good longer than the vinyl will; plus, just think how much more pride you will have in your own craftsmanship (help me out here, I'm trying to be positive)! [sm=smiley14.gif]

Seriously, though- great job with the paint.[sm=smiley20.gif]

I also ordered a set of eyelids- I've been shying away from them, but I saw a bitchin' pair over on the other forum, and I fell to temptation- they're a little spendy, but I think they'll be worth it. I'll post pics when I get them. In the meantime, you can check them out at http://www.eastcoastboost.com/eyelids/

Yup. I got the vinyl version as well. The seller at ebay gave me TWO decals for $7 provided I leave him a positive feedback, which I did naturally. Haven't put one on yet, but they look to be high quality and look like they will fit with no problem. Instructions were included as well.[&:]
