Dear holy mother for all that is good in this world...........if you all are near a computer, check this site often, because I am going to attempt to do this!

Wish me luck.....I'm going to tame that wild beast. 6:01....will report back on the time that i finish. I may be here sooner if I run into trouble.

Thanks for the help!

You shouldn't run into trouble bro, disconnect all the shiz connected to the stock airbox, pull the **** out, take out old ecu, snap in new one, thats it.

status report:

6:40

project terminated

and then........depression sets in.

Could not remove the stupid effing airbox. Don't ask me why. Either the instructions weren't clear or I couldn't understand them, and I think I know which of the two it was.

I was doing pretty good....but the instructions said something about removing clamps and I could not find any clamps that you could remove. Well,,,I did remove a screw in type clamp, but there was another one that had to be undone, but without a pic, I didn't know which way to get it off. I put all that I had undone and placed it back together.

Disappointed.

New plan of attack. Get ahold of friend Mike and have him show me what the hell I did wrong on Saturday.

Thanks for trying to help, guys.

Word hun its wicked easy.

Theres two screws on that air box that connect the solenoid, just toss them aside.

Theres two bolts to the air cleaner cover behind it. And the rest are easily visible.

Take off your filter, theres four bolts behind there, pop those out too.

Release the airbox!!!

Then you have 6 10mm bolts that hold the PCM in, and color coded plugs...unbolt em, and take the PCM and the bracket out. Replace, and re-bolt.
