Default Almost good-bye

The wife and I were involved in a accident last Saturday. We were hit in the passenger's side by the back door and quarter panel by a GMC Denali. No match for a Neon! I am ok and my wife is still sore. I am writing this not for your sympathy but to let you all know that her seatbelt came unlatched and she was thrown in the backseat and stuffed in the corner like a sardine. I don't know if this will make it to a recall but thought you should be aware of this. So please, if you are concerned about your seatbelt, have it checked out by your dealer.
The SRT-4 went over a median and broke off the back wheels. All 4 rims need replacing and two tires, so I having them replaced with after-market rims and new tires. It also needs back door, quarter panel, front & rear bumpers.
Take care all and have a great day!

I was also hit in the passenger side last summer by a Yukon and the Yukon got the worst of it. No problems with seatbelts in this case....

Dusty, Vaughn, srt4babe, thank you for your replies. Dusty, thank you for posting that diagram on vacuum leaks. I have tightened all of them and still think I have a boost leak. Tried to solve it by totaling the car but it didn't work. (just kidding) It will take about 4 weeks to fix the SRT-4 (saving gas). I still don't have full boost and puzzled? Could it be the PCV? Thanks again.

Yes, thankfully you guys are both here to talk about it. I hope your wife gets better soon.

It may be the PCV, or it could be the solenoid, those are sneaky boost leaks too.

I was wicked sick last week, couldnt get out of bed at all...tomorrow is my day to finish as much as I can, then the weekend for the rest of it.

I've still gotta do all the trim on the headliner, and the visors....and drop the rails to get the slider out, and paint that.

BB do you have a boost leak tester available to you? Those make life 100x easier. Though I've never used one, I've heard that alot of people get great results with em.

This may be a weird question for you, did you take any pics of the car after the accident. Reason I ask is that I am an EMT and we respond to quite a lot of calls, yet I have never seen a neon or an SRT-4 for that matter hit, I wonder how they hold up. Just thought I would ask. Thanks
