hi,
im new to these boards and have noticed that you guys seem to know your stuff when it comes to the srt-4, especially the girls. But anyway i have an '05 srt-4 and its my baby. I decided to upgrade my baby and get the mopar stage 3 w/ toys kit. Currently i simply have a AEM SRI and a $20 occ. I was wondering with all of your knowledge if you could point me in the right direction on what to do next with my baby to improve on her. My biggest thing would be traction so i was lookin to prob go an inch wider for the rim but other than that what else would you suggest I have done to it. Money isn't a problem really so any and all thoughts on upgrades is appreciated.

Oh and if any of you live in the tampa area feel free to contact me if u wanna go out riding.

Well your gonna want to upgrade the whole exhaust system,check out maxxfab.com they got really good products and great customer service.Your gonna want to put some solid mounts in it wether it be inserts or full replacements check moderperformance.com they also have good products and great customer service.As far as tires go im running 225/50/15 BF-G drag radials and they hook like a ****.Chances are with stage 3 sticky tires and solid mounts you might think about some upgrades axles as well since you will be putting alot of stress on them.Oh yeah if you haven't got one i definately recommend a Short throw shifter,either mopar or aftermarket i feel its a must ecspecially if you want some crisp shifting..Any other ?'s just shoot.

As far as motor mounts havent heard anything about the avid,alot of people run the agp and moomba.Kick the underdrive pulley right out of there its gonna do more harm than its worth,last but not least forget about the BC because the stage 3 w/toy has the dab option and in order to run a BC you have to run a seperate vac pack and its not really necessary.Good choice on tires i love em and as far as the FMIC spearco are nice but expensive i just purchased mine from exhaust depot.com and i have only heard good things about his products,plus i got the beast and it was only $475. i have the mopar STS and i love it but it all depends on how short of a throw you want look up the MADDOG sts alot people like his product plus he makes ones with up to 80% throw compared to the mopar 27%...Anything other ?'s just HOLLA

 

Oh and kick the idea of the MOPAR cat-back with stage 3 i would recommend running a full 3" setup.Checkout maxxfab i got his 3" DP no cat and its fitted to the modified borla exhaust and i love it.

 

Oh yeah since your gonna do a aftermarket FMIC and BOV your gonna want to do your HARDPIPES,this is also another thing you should research cause there is alot of different ones and theres alot of mixed feelings about each of them.exhaust depot custom makes them for are cars as well as metal man fab.
