Default Custom Exhaust Adventures....

Alright my quest for my single tip custom exhaust came to a hault about 3 weeks ago when my friend with the Greddy EVO II muffler decided to sell it on ebay. So here is my new quest. I am looking for a muffler for my car. I've been looking at the megan racing muffler and I gotta say they do look pretty promising. Let me know what you guys think. I am going for a full custom 3" turboback exhaust system, single. Here are some links to the mufflers.

M-GT Turbo Muffler:

M-Spec Turbo Muffler

What do you guys think?

I like the M-spec.The other one kind of looks like something you would see on a honduh!!!Single exhaust looks sweet if you roll the back bumper.

Looks interesting. Make sure whoever does your exhaust uses mandrel bends.

I actually opted to go with a Needswings Downpipe (w/ a McCord electric cut-out) into a 3" stainless steel pipe w/ a 3" dynomax muffler, mounted about midway down the exhaust tunnel. Then a single 90 degree turn followed by a Magnaflow 3" turn-down tip. The exhaust isn't visible just looking at the car, you have to bend over and look under the car to see the exhaust outlet.

I dunno how it sounds yet though... Ask me in about 4 weeks.

I have my bumper rolled already, just need the single exhaust to finish it up. Yeah I was thinking about going with the M-Spec as well, I might do it either today or tomorrow.

Personally I'm not a fan of the rolled bumper and single exhaust, but the more I picture that M-Spec in my head with the rolled bumper it seems it would turn out pretty sweet! I like the burnt tip.... Be sure to post pics on whichever route you choose!

why not just get a maxxfab set up with a muffler? that would be the easier thing to do......

I had a Megan Racing cat back on my 240sx and it's still holding up nicely. My friend has a custom bent 3' with a Megan racing muffler her bought off of EBay and it looks good and sounds good. I also saw a SRT-4 a few months back, a red one, for sale on EBay and posted on it. It had a rolled rear bumper and single exhaust with the big canister. Let me see if I can find the post.
