Default Suspension Mods

This is a question to everyone, i have an 04 srt-4 and am interested in changing suspension. I am interested in going to an adjustable setup with larger sway bars.

This is for every one that has suspension mods or aftermarket suspension

If you were to re do your suspension again what would you do different ? Different brand different combination of parts? Please be specific as i am about to start on my vehicles suspension.

Thanks in advance

Well, for one, don't go with the eibachs, at least for now. They look great, but they don't seem to be made specifically for the SRT- I suspect they just used the same spring rates as the neon springs, b/c they don't work well with the struts and geometry/weight of the car. I've had great experiences w/ eibach in the past, but these bottom out and just don't have the performance they should- guys on other forums complain of the same. Mine are off and I ordered a pair of Tein H-Techs- I'll let everyone know what I think when they get here and I get them on.

Ok Eibach out. Now how about sway bars and adjustable suspension.

Thanks for your reply

one word: MOPAR. i got the stage 3 strut coilover kit for my retired 03 and the ride was so much better than stock. the lowering is such were its functionable and aesthetic. you don't fear speed bumps but the corners are so much more responsive and nimble. i can wait to drop them in my 2004 and with the perrin rear sway bar and the pair of dc sport strut tower bars (front and rear).....it will be vicious!

I've heard good things- I plan on getting the mopar coilovers later on, as well (stage 2 comes first).

If and when I get to doing the suspension, I will be getting the Mopar Performance Stage 3.

good choice 71RR, might i suggest camber adjustment nuts, if you plan on tackling the corners on regular basis. just got mine installed now it just a matter of tuning to my taste and style of driving.

i think maybe you should get tokico adjs., ground control coilovers and hotchkis sway bars, and dc sport strut bars with the ingalls camber kit. the tokico adjs. and ground control coilovers would be way cheaper than getting the mopar coilovers. but this is just a suggestion.
