Default smack talk

my friend is always tellin me how he wants to race me. to be honest, i repsect the power and speed my little racer has and really dont need to race to know im fast. but now its jus gotten to the point that i wanna shut him up for good! so heres the stats...
me-
stock '05 srt-4
(unless u consider naming it Tornado a performance mod )

him-
'00 civic si
drag turbo kit

-i did some research on this turbo kit. it claims that on certain applications that it can put out almost 100+ horses. dont know how valid it is but jus makin sure.

so i jus got a few questions...

1. how much power (range) stock srt has?
2. can one turbo kit really put out over 100+ horses?
3. is Tornado a good name? (named it after Zorro's noble steed)
4. what else should i look out for?

i really appreciate all the help with this!

the 100hp is for sure a good number. how do you think our srt-4s are so fast. if he did have the extra 100hp i think it would make it almost on par with the srt-4. it will probly come down to a drivers race. dont take my word and put money on the race but i do think you can take him. i have beaten plenty of civics, dont know if they were turbo charged or not. naming your car for sure adds like at lease an extra 50hp.

If your that unsure, throw down $5 and just do it to see what happens. If you lose you lose and vise versa....

What is the base HP rateing of his civic?
Remember they are prolly quoteing Flywheel HP not what the car is putting down.
Then chuck 100hp on top of that and it will be approximately what your up against.

Im gona say that The SRT Most likely is putting down more power.

If it was a 2003 or so Si with the drag kit, he would probably eat you for lunch. Considering the slowness factor of a 2000 Si, I think you can take him, even if it was 100 ponies to the wheels.

ok i did some lookin up....... http://www.thecarconnection.com/Vehi...S184.A967.html

Sais there that the HP rateing is 160hp......... as i stated earlier its most likely fly wheel power..... im gona go out on a limb and say its putting 110 - 130 of that to the ground.

Itll prolly be a drivers race. If ur unsure throw an intake on it and call it a win.

To make it fair, check out under his hood and let him do the same to you.....if you both still agree to race, go for it. But don't do it on a public street, please.....
