Default Spark Plugs and Wires

Alright guys and gals, I am looking into getting some new spark plugs and spark plug wires, anyone got some good suggestions for me? I am thinking about the iridiums and the msd wires... Also I will get some pics of my 3" pipes as soon as I get a chance. For someone reason my accel pedal feels lighter than it used to, as if though I am not getting the same response, its still quick, but the pedal goes down faster than before... its akward... any input?

irridiums are a nice plug, the itl 16's are a good choice for you. sparkplugs.com has some very nice 9.0mm high temp wires to match them. if you don't want to do irridium the ngk coppers are always good with a set of msd wires.

ps - i see in your sig you have "stage 1 injectors" listed...what are you referring to as "s1 injectors"?

I know that the 05 comes with stage 1 injectors the 577 cc, but I put them as a mod, I guess to make me feel better... lol.

You won't go wrong with the MSD wires, I'm very happy with mine and they look and perform great even after two years of the Texas summer heat!!!

i have the msd wires too and they are great. just asking what are the benefits of new wires and plugs? and what is the best set of plugs to go with the msd 8.5mm wires?

i have found that in the srt the heat that's generated causes the wires to burn out faster than in other cars. i never go longer than a year on the same wires, which is a decent amount of time. after that you start to possibly see some break down in the effectiveness of their conductivity. not that big a deal really, but i'd rather just replace mine and do a little preventatve maintenance before it becomes an issue. plugs and wires are probably the cheapest way to help ensure that the car is always running at her best!
