Chance to buy SRT-4... Should I?
I agree, whenever I bought a used car, I drove it for at least a day before signing the papers. Also, get the best warranty you can get, and also ask if you can return the car within 5/7/10 days if you're not happy with it. Cover your butt, 'cause the dealer won't...

Accually if im not mistaken......by law you have 30 days to return a product. I could be wrong but thats what i understand.
your best option would actually be to find a local srt owner and ask them to come to the dealer with you and look over the car. just make sure that it's someone that has half a clue. where are you located? i might be able to help with that....
St. Louis, MO PSI Chick.
Those prices are retardedly high, RETARDEDLY. I paid less than they want for the ACR when I bought mine brand new! Dealers are marking stuff WAYYYYY UP, the dealers in my area are doing the same thing because they know you cant buy them anymore.
If you cant get the ACR down to 16/17 or the 04 down to 14/15, dont do it.

we always looked for the title in the glovebox and called the previous owner. They are usually honest about any problems- they already got their money for it, and won't loose a thing by telling you of any problems or how hard they drove the car before they traded it in.
I agree, the prices seems high. Before I got mine, a dealer who knew we were interested called and offered us an 04 with 30,000 for 16,000$. I got mine new less than the used ACR, then got the "miles of freedom" deal on top of that. (2,367.00$ on a debit card + warranty 5/60,000 and scheduled maintanence for 2 yrs)
I'd also see if the warranties are transferable.

Thanks for all the help. I took all the advice to the dealer and talked him down $1,500 on the ACR and got a $1,000 trade in for my old car. Still not the best price but its history was what sold me. It was owned by Chrysler as a show car. There was not a single door ding or rock chip in the paint anywhere on the car. All the maintence was accounted for and taken care of. I couldn't pass this up. Thanks again.

FYI for you SRT-4 er's there was a car show today and there was a hopped up SRT-4 taht was right next to a mitsubishi EVO and the SRT-4 looked way better IMO, carbon fiber hood, etc., sorry no pics my camera is on the fritz[&:].....anyhow there was also a burnout contest and the guy in the SRT-4 put his car in it among pickups and older cars and took third place, he smoked his tires till they blew !!!!! not even joking......i was very impressed, probably the best front wheel drive burnout i have ever seen, your cars are really something else !!!
Congrats Ron!
And thanks JNelly! Most people dont give them credit for what they are. They arent the best in the world, nothing is really, but they're pretty damn sweet and impressive for a 20k car.
