Would you guies recomend a 2 1/2 inch exhaust or a 3 inch pipe one?

factory is 2 1/4, anything worth doing is worth doing right... misewell go 3 if you're gonna be paying for a new exhaust.

depends on how far you wanna take your power.. if you plan on upgrading turbo going with stage 2 or 3 probally best for the 3inch if plan on running pretty much stock stay with 2 1/2

A 2 1/2 inch is fine for anything up to and around 300 horsepower. Anything higher than that will run better on a 3 inch system. If you're going to go full bore on your mods, go three inches, otherwise, save some cash and go with the smaller size......

I would say go for the 2.5" unless you're planning on making more than ~350whp.

The 3" will take you up to the 550-600hp range.

I'm looking into a 3.5" exhaust for my car, and will likely go that route.
