I was just wondering about something.not to be a dick or anything but why the hell do people say(yea i have a 3in turbo back and a 3in down pipe? UMMMMM When i orderd my turboback it came with a down pipe.Cause is'nt a turboback from the turboback wich includes the down pipe?I thought this is how it went on cause i did mine. manifold then o2 h then turbo then down pipe then the cat.Am i wrong or just really stupid? So what im saying is When people say i have a turboback( THAT IS WITH THE DOWN PIPe.)

 

Turboback = downpipe/o2 housing
Catback = midsection/rear section

In all technicality.

 

Believe you me,,,the lingo is not clear on how people use the terminology, because I could never make sense out of it. One day Andy posted a pic of it, and that was the first time that the lingo made sense. People use the terminology differently, thus making it unclear on what they mean.

 

lsp is right, it's just that's not how many people use the terms. when someone says "turbo-back" then they really mean from the turbo back to the end of the car. so yes, you're right that it's retarded to say "i have a 3" turboback with a 3" dp"....well duh
