Step 4.5 Loosen third bolt just enough to pivot BOV down and away, allowing better access to finish third bolt removal from intake side. This allows retention of %25 more knuckle skin
New Step 7 Replace third bolt first , with BOV hanging down, which allows tightening of third bolt with fairly easy access from intake side, just enough so that you only have a little to go after
New Step 8 Swing BOV back up , NOW replace first and second bolts.
New Step Nine Finish 3rd bolt, should only have a little left, allowing retention of another %25 knuckle skin
Total Knuckle Skin Savings = %50!!!!!!!!! Which saves on the monthly Band-aid bill, WHAT A BONUS!!!!!!

I was just followint the instruction in the box. Actually, it made it a little easier for me. Apparently, I wanted to leave my knuckle skin in the engine bay, I wish I would have thought about that sooner. Now that you mention it, that would have made lot more sense. I guess I like doing things the hard way sometimes.

Thanks, just trying to help out. I never did the first step, didn't see the need to remove it. It might help out with putting the BOV assembly back on though. I too agree with glhs837, remove the hard to reach bolt last and put it back on first.
I got one for you guys... I was dumb enough to think that after driving home from work (just 12 miles) I could put my BOV on when I got it... yeah... cause working next to a fusion generator (aka the boiling hot spawn of Hell turbo) is a good idea... two hours and a box fan later it was time to tear it out
note to self - turbo get's hot quick and stays hot for hours... fish fry anyone??

That's why I made sure that I had everything I needed the night before I was going to put it in. This way I could get it done first thing in the morning while it's as cool as it can get.
