Default Motor Mount ?

Was looking in to get some solid motor mounts or the inserts. I have a few ?s though. I heard the motor mounts can make everything rattle, like dash and such, is this true? Also is there a big difference in the solid motor mounts and just the inserts? If i get them is there anything i should be careful of? Make things simple, i would just like to hear the good and bad about them, and also whats good or which to get. Thanks

Good:
Reduced Wheelhop
Sending the torque of the engine where it truly belongs, not overstressing other parts
Putting more power to the ground because of the above
Different exhaust note

What some may call bad, but youll get used to:
Dash/Wheel vibration at idle, worse on 1st gear starts
Powersteering whine
Loud A/C noise

Thats all I can think of.....all in all they're good, go for it

I have the agp dogbone motor mounts in and the agp tranny mount in.. No wheel hop anymore and a very solid shift.. The mounts made a huge difference! wont go with out them.. oh yeh they do make everything vibrate. I just dont keep anything in the glove box or else you can hear it lol

The cheap and easy way is the Prothane race motor mount inserts and are easy to install. You will notice more vibration and sound transferance through them, but you will also notice quicker grab and go on takeoff.

you can't even compare inserts to a solid mount, completly different animal. yes, it's worth the extra money. i had inserts and now have soild mounts, and now that i have mounts i don't understand why i ever bothered with inserts.

Inserts are okay for a stock car that you plan on keeping stock though. But who keeps their car stock nowadays?
