Right now I have a down payment placed on a black 04' SRT-4 w/ 16,000 miles.. i test drove and 03' before the 04' and the 03' was running around 10 lbs of boost and when i got in the 04' and stepped on it i saw it was running close to 15 lbs of boost.. what is the stock boost level? Should I be worried about buying a used SRT-4 thats running around 15 psi if that is not the stock boost?

 

pretty sure stock boost will peak at 15 psi.. if everything is working

 

so there was no boost controller used for the 04'.. stock will run up to around 15 psi?

 

it should peak at 15.. then it will drop to like 10 11 12 varies from vehicle....from what ive read thats stock readings

 

well my 04 maybe peaks at 12 and holds 10 stock, ive boost leak tested it and nothing beens found checked all clamps and nothing. When i first got the car though i was hiting 14-15 like it says you are too. I'm fed up with it all, just to warn you there are little issues that come with this car regarding to boost and peformance levels.

I have an 04 and peaking at 15psi is expected, that is in warm weather. During the winter I was spiking at 12psi, but now that it is warming back up I'm back to 15psi again...

 

11-15 stock depending on weather/elevation etc etc.
