New Srt-4 Stage2 vs. Aerial Atom?

I don't think you can beat one. I would agree that your SRT4 has more potential to come closer than others.

I wouldn't go THAT far... at least for straight line accelleration anyhow.

FORGET IT. You will not beat that car with any SRT-4 known to man.

BB - The Aerial Atom is a street legal car in Europe, but I'm not sure about the USA.

It soon will be though. Once the Gremlins are worked out 10's will be cake and I'll be focusing on 9's. I've already looked into getting the Chassis certified, trying to figure out how/where to mount a chute (something easily removable) and what it'll take to get an NHRA sub 10 sec legal license.
If I can't hit 9's on the turbo alone (600-650whp) then a 150 shot DP on top of that should do it. I've got the suspension as best as can be done w/o going to a solid rear axle suspension. I'm getting a DCR Automatic transaxle w/ DSS Stage 5 axles and 10" wide slicks. I've also gone with a GT3582R, Crane 18/16 cams and an AEM EMS. Adjusting the parameters of a fairly acurate simulator program so that the traction allows a 1.8 60 foot time (actual time should be in the 1.6's or lower) netted an 8.8@165 w/ 800whp and an estimated torque curve that should be pretty close.
And if all of that still only gets me a 10.000, then I'll up the jets to a 250 shot and go for broke... that'd be enough HP to put a RWD car of the same weight into the low 8's. 9.999@175mph is still 9's

According to the numbers I've found, the Atom 300 should run mid 9's... HOWEVER, it's top speed is gear limited @ ~135mph, which means it would be running through the traps on it's rev limiter, hence the mid 10 second times.
And 0-100 in 7 seconds, I was pretty close to that w/ the 11.37 run on the old setup (trapping 98-99 in 7.4 seconds at the 1/8th mile). WhiteMnt's car was trapping 103-104 at the 1/8th mile in just thousandths of a second over 7 seconds.
