Another Plugs, Wires, and Shield Post.
Glacius, thanks for clearing that up for me. See I always thought that if you have a good ignition system it was better to increase the gap and you would make more power. But, that was years ago and not turbo'd engines. Guess you just have to have a starting point and go from there as suggested by other members. I have to say that mine ran fine gapped at .052 with Iridiums and MSD wires for 18,000 mi. (stock)
not a problem, trying to spend more time here because I like it, I'm just normally so busy with other forums answering pm's and questions I dont' get to hang much here
Its okay Jeff we still love you. Speaking of which I bought a gapper today, mine are going closer. I'm at .040 with 18psi spike, and its still misfiring, so Im gonna run em down to .032 on tuesday night.
I replaced my stock wires yesterday with MSD's.... As I was pulling the #4 wire from the coilpack, the f'n thing fell apart! Literally three different pieces.... Guess I needed new wires after all!
By the way, the new wires are sweet! The second I started up my car I could tell the difference!
